DOES IARSM TAKE MY INSURANCE?
We are an out-of-network direct pay facility. This is hugely advantageous to you as our client. Here is why.

With insurance premiums, deductibles, co-insurance, and co-payments, insurance companies are making billions a year. Where does all this money go? You may think it goes to your doctor or therapist. But the sad truth is it does not. In order for insurance companies to profit they consistently cut reimbursement to your health care providers (doctors and therapists). In order for in-network doctors and therapists to keep their lights on, they need to find ways to increase income. Sadly, this is always at the sacrifice of the care you deserve! They will have to see multiple patients at a time, prescribe unnecessary treatment modalities, pass you on to different clinicians, and prescribe more visits than what is really needed for your condition. Does this sound familiar?
Insurance companies take the control out of your hands and out of your doctor’s hands. The crazy thing is that they are not even medical professionals, but control a large portion of your medical decisions. This creates situations and experiences that can be extremely disappointing and frustrating, especially if you consider them in the framework of YOUR HEALTH, YOUR MONEY, and YOUR TIME.
By choosing to work with our clients in a direct pay model, we are able to:

-
FOCUS ON YOU the entire session. Undivided 1-on-1 sessions with the same doctor every session.
-
Select TREATMENT THAT IS BEST FOR YOU; not based on the amount insurance will reimburse for a diagnosis or procedure.
-
SAVE YOU MONEY by avoiding all the unnecessary out of pocket deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, and an unexpected bill down the road.
-
SAVE YOU TIME by creating a schedule that fits your goals; not by how many visits insurance approves.
-
GIVE YOU CONTROL OF THE MOST VALUABLE COMMODITY YOU OWN…YOUR HEALTH, and get you back to thriving in your sport!

WHAT IS A TYPICAL SESSION LIKE?

An Athlete centered model, which is never a one-size-fits-all approach. The process will start by listening to you. We want to learn about your current activity level, injury history, and overall goals. We'll then complete a physiological assessment of joint mobility, muscular strength, tissue pliability, and nutrition. We will also evaluate your body's ability to effectively recover since high level performance is directly correlated with high level recovery. Based on these findings, we will collaborate with our team of performance trainers, recovery specialists, and registered dietitians. Together, we will design a customized plan that makes sense to you and helps meet all your goals.

We respect your time and understand it is extremely valuable. After the initial assessment you have the convenient options of a 30 minute or 60 minute follow up session at varying frequencies. Our 30 minute sessions focus on mobility and recovery, while our 60 minute sessions incorporate movement correction and therapeutic exercise. As doctors of manual therapy, you will experience the benefits of hands on treatment in every session. Rest assured, we will work with you to determine the best plan to keep you healthy and performing at the highest level.

DO I NEED A PRESCRIPTION / REFERRAL FROM A PHYSICIAN TO BE SEEN?

No, you do not. The state of Texas allows individuals direct access to physical therapy. Research consistently proves that patients who see a physical therapist PRIOR to seeing a physician save significant time and money in addressing musculoskeletal pain and get back to their activities much sooner. IARSM methods show superior results in keeping athletes healthy in a more holistic environment which can help you avoid surgery and prolonged use of medication. If this is the type of treatment you prefer, then contact us and we'll get you in as soon as possible. If you are referred to us by your physician or trainer, we will certainly stay in constant contact with them so they are kept up to date with your progress.
